ICE arrived in Maine on Tuesday January 20 2026. I call them Trump’s militia. I’m not sure how many are here but according to Secretary of State Shenna Bellows, requested State of Maine license plates so they could move around the sate anonymously. Ms Bellow denied the request.
I know they have been operating in Portland and Lewiston. They are looking for 1500 culprits. I don’t think will be bothered because they are looking for primarily people of color as their target. There have been reports that they have been picking up a lot of citizens. There was a man who worked at the county jail, a citizen , who fit the profile. A gentleman who owns a store, the Africa store, on Brighten Ave in Portland who says business has been way down because people fear ICE.
They are totally ignoring the Constitution. They are entering homes without a warrant. The 4th Amendment is being trampled on . Or Trumpled on. So buckle up friends.
